Community Involvement

Contributing to the community as a team has encouraged our staff and played an evident role to those in need.

We annually facilitate the VDT/Beeld Children’s Fund Golf day to raise funds for the Beeld Children’s Fund, which actively tries to empower and develop children as far as possible. By doing this, the cycle of poverty is broken and welfare increases.

We have stayed committed to giving back and an amount totalling R1 768 770 has been donated to the Fund over the past 12 years. These funds are utilised for the basic and therapeutic needs of many homeless, orphaned and disabled children.

The firm has also identified keen-minded and technically proficient people from previously disadvantaged communities, and we have encouraged them to gain relevant work experience and academic education through career planning, appropriate training courses and education bursary schemes.
