As a Director in the property law division of VDT Attorneys Inc, Barbara specialises in all aspects of conveyancing, including township and sectional title developments. She also provides notarial, nuptial and property services.

Barbara graduated with BA Law, BA Honours, LL.B and LL.M (cum laude) degrees from North-West University. In 1999, she enrolled at the law school of the University of Amsterdam where she obtained her International Rechts Transcript. She also enrolled and obtained a 2-year advanced diploma in alternative dispute resolution (labour law). She is an attorney and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa. Barbara has extensive legal expertise and practical experience in the field of property law which enables her to deal with all property related matters.

Barbara and her team attend to residential property transfers, including retail, commercial and industrial developments. Her experience involves the opening of township registrars, opening of sectional title schemes, sub-divisions, consolidations as well as knowledge and experience in the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act.

Barbara was an active member of the Professional Board of Psychology where she is registered as a psychometrist at the Medical Health Profession Council of South Africa. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys fly-fishing, spending time with family and friends, and is involved in several charity drives.
