P.R. specialises in corporate and commercial transactional and tax advisory work and have advised multiple global, local and governmental institutions on inter alia, building and developing an offshore / onshore legal structure in compliance with local and international laws; estate and succession planning structures for both companies and high net worth individuals; mergers and acquisitions, corporate structures and re-structuring, BEE structures, and attending to associated advisory services from the term sheet phase to closing, including negotiations, transaction structuring, due diligence investigations, drafting and negotiation of acquisition and final implementation agreements.

P.R. further assisted multiple local and global corporations with data privacy and cyber law compliance and related advisory services, from conducting impact assessments, conducting compliance audits and oversees the implementation of compliance programmes including policy formulation and roll-out and implementation of a full data privacy and cyber risk compliance plan in line with legislation such as POPIA, GDPR and the Cyber Crimes Act.

PR joined VDT’s commercial division during 2015 as a Junior Associate and became a partner and director of the firm in 2018. Today P.R. heads up the corporate, commercial & tax division and has a vast team of experts working with him in the commercial team.
